Get to Know Me
Hi! Thanks for visiting my site. It's nice to meet you! Here's my story:
I spent my entire early life performing, and went to Northwestern University to pursue a career in musical theater performance. I earned degrees in theater and psychology, and went on to become a professional stage manager and producer. I found a lot of success in this path—I worked regionally, off-broadway, and on broadway with wonderful stage management teams (you can view my SM resume here). I also co-founded and served as the executive director for Bluelaces Theater Company, a non-profit that created immersive, multi-sensory theatrical experiences for audiences with autism and developmental disabilities. I received a masters in education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education where I specialized in non-profit management, social entrepreneurship, and inclusive education. For the last decade, I've worked in the corporate world as a producer, project and program manager.
In March 2020, I contracted covid and became extremely ill. As part of my rehabilitation, I reunited with my vocal coach, Julia Gregory, and reignited my love and passion for performance. I restarted my musical theater training, and over the last few years, found my way back to the stage. I rebuilt my confidence, sharpened my skills, and now am finally pursuing my original dream as a professional actor.
I have never been happier.
I am an earnest, grounded, and generous actor and scene partner with a powerhouse belt that shines in comedy and contemporary legit repertoire. I love to play warm, maternal types as well as sarcastic, neurotic, and more emotional characters. Some of my dream musical roles include Mother- Ragtime, Fantine- Les Miserables, Beverley/Annette- Come From Away, Baker's Wife- Into the Woods, Trina- Falsettos, Nancy- Oliver!, Bobbie- Company, Lucy- Jekyll and Hyde, Diana- Next to Normal, Alice- Bright Star, and Narrator- Joseph and... Dreamcoat.
Thank you so much for reading my story and for being a part of my journey. I hope to work with you soon!
